As Songkran is upon us, our Course Directors are frantically trying to prepare for the IDC while at the same time staying dry!
Tomorrow marks the Thai New Year, which is celebrated with a massive free-for-all water festival.
Meanwhile, loads of photocopying and transferring of computer equipment is being done on the last day before Thailand erupts in a water and beer-soaked frenzy. It’s always a great laugh, but make sure you leave your phones and cameras inside. The underwater videographers, with their waterproof video housings will be out to document the topside madness and we’ll be posting photos in a few days.
The Instructor Course will begin on the 14th with 12 IDC candidates from 7 different countries around the world. Two weeks of academic, confined and open water presentations will be completed before the PADI Instructor examiners show up on Koh Tao for three days of assessment.
