Thailand Gap Internships has recently completed another PADI Instructor Development Course with great results for everyone on the 3 day Instructor Exam! The weather for the recent Koh Tao IDC was amazing with great visibility in the water, loads of sunshine and the odd rainshower to cool things down.

It was a smaller IDC this time with only 7 candidates from 7 different countries. Helping Darius, our Course Director, were Dex, Manu and Sam. Manu especially did a heck of a job translating pretty much the whole program into Spanish for Javier while also completing his IDC Staff Instructor Course.

After successful completion of the exams, the whole group had a few celebratory drinks and a round of mini-golf before moving on to Vibe Bar for a great IE party!
In the meantime, the film team is finishing up their work on Koh Tao for the season and will be moving over to Borneo for the next few months for some great diving and to teach their BSAC Professional Underwater Videographer courses over there. Lisa has already gone and set up shop, and Elisabeth will be joining her in a few weeks. They’re both really looking forward to what the next few months have to bring!

After a long hiatus, this Bullshark made an appearance near Koh Tao!
