The TGI staff and internship trainees all went out a few nights ago to lend their support to one of Koh Tao’s newest and strangest ventures. Now a new activity is around for those rare days off from scuba diving, freediving and filming underwater videos- Koh Tao’s own Flying Trapeze!

We weren’t sure what to expect, but the crowd who has designed and built the business seem nice enough and we wish them luck. It was a great evening out and most of the island was there to witness the spectacle of many of our friends (in fancy dress) out flying through the dark night. Monica, who heads up the freediving training was one of the performers showcasing the skills that she had been taught in the run-up to the opening.
In the meantime, the IDC guys are getting closer to being fully prepared for the June 23rd PADI Instructor Exam. Today will be spent updating emergency management skills on the EFR Instructor course and the next 2 days we will conduct a Mock Instructor Exam to boost everyone’s confidence before the big day. Fingers crossed for a great result and lots of fun on this month’s IE party at MOOV on Sairee Beach!
