On the 14th-16th of August, PADI Examiners Rob Scammell and Tim Marshall paid a visit to Koh Tao to administer the 3-day PADI Instructor Exam. As is the norm, the Thailand Gap Internship IDC group again passed without a hitch!
August Instructor Exam- Done and Dusted! Another 100% Success for the TGI Group!
The weather has been amazing, the diving incredible and we’ve even had daily sightings of the elusive bullsharks in the waters in recent weeks (though, we didn’t get to see them on the IDC)!
The most recent group comprised 12 candidates from Australia, China, England, Holland, Italy, Poland and Russia. With Staff Trainers from England (Justin), Russia (Dema), China (Suki) and the USA (Darius), it was another very international team that pulled together and spent a very fun and relaxed 2 weeks on the IDC!
Now that the exam is complete and the recovery from a great night with Dave and Therese and Vibe Bar is behind us, we are cracking on with the Master Scuba Diver Internship (MSDT). The Enriched Air and Deep Specialty Instructor courses were completed today, with further training in Wreck, Search & Recovery, Oxygen Provider and Digital Underwater Photography Diver to come.
