Koh Tao' Newest PADI Instructors
Once again the staff of Koh Tao’s most successful IDC has completed the course with a perfect 100% success rate on the PADI Instructor Exam. Through the first 4 months of the year, Thailand Gap Year Internships has taken 30 qualified PADI Divemasters through the 2 week course with impeccable results.
It was 14 days of beautiful diving conditions, great weather (Very Hot!!) and lots of laughs. We began on Songkran- the Thai New Year’s water festival with a short day and a big water fight. In the middle we had a day off where I cooked a barbecue of potato salad, coleslaw and my ever-popular Texas Beer Can Chicken. By the time the Instructor Exam came around, the guys were well-prepared and very confident going into their exam, and they did us all proud.
Yesterday, we began the Master Scuba Diver Training Internship and are preparing to take a trip next weekend to Khao Sok National Park for some Cave Dive training.
