May Instructor Group Completes the PADI Instructor Exam!
We’ve just completed the May Instructor Exam on Koh Tao and the crew from Thailand Gap Internships would like to congratulate all 17 of our latest Instructor Candidates! We’re sure that you’ll all continue to make a great contribution to the dive industry.
I especially want to thank Valentijn and Yvonne who have been providing us with some fantastic photos of their experience throughout the course. They’ve been updating their blog with reports about people’s experiences on Koh Tao’s most successful IDC.

We had a great afternoon of celebrating at Johnny Specs’ Reef Bar in Mae Haad, before moving down to the Buddha Bar in Chalok Baan Khao for some late evening revelry.
Seb Celebrates his new PADI Instructor Status!
Yesterday, I conducted a Tec diving introduction and the Enriched Air Instructor Course with most of the guys from the program. Today we’ll begin the Search and Recovery and Deep Diver Specialties. Many will continue with the Master Scuba Diving internship and they’ll get real work experience team teaching with our staff. It’s been so much fun working with this group of people and I’m sad to see my role ending.
Now for a few days off relaxing on the beach before we begin the June 2010 Instructor Development Course…
