Once again the crew from Thailand Gap Internships have set the bar for Koh Tao’s PADI Instructor programs. A few days ago all of our 5 Instructor Candidates completed the Instructor Exam and got big props from Instructor Examiner, Mike Holme, who congratulated the team for their ‘outstanding preparation’.

Diana, Steve, Karthik, Haz and Eike were a great group for the entire course. Poor Eike was able to complete the Exam with perfect marks despite having dengue fever, and retired to his room before we could even get a photo of him. After it was completed, we all had a few too many drinks down at Johnny’s Reef Bar. The guys from Ban’s Diving and Crystal Divers also showed up to celebrate, making it a great IDC party. Due to a very short break between the programs, Darius was up the next day teaching the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) to Karthik, Steve, Diana and a few of candidates who’ve returned after completing a previous IDC with us on Koh Tao.
